Description

SCIAN Is an alt rock / alt metal project and the brainchild of Irish frontman and songwriter Ethan Carey. Drawing influence from genre defining bands such as Deftones and Muse, as well as rising underground Post Rock and Shoegaze titans Holy Fawn and Explosions In The Sky, SCÍAN can be described as ‘beautiful destruction’ : Huge soundscapes, crushing walls of sound and powerful yet vulnerable vocals. Since its official formation last year, SCÍAN has played a huge number of festivals and large club gigs, both as a support band as well as a headliner, most notably performing at Rockhal Luxembourg's 'Screaming Fields' Festival Contest, where SCÍAN was awarded 4x Bookers Choice awards from top venues in Luxembourg, as well as Neumunster Abbey, Rockhal, Holy Ghost Stage, Rock Justice Stage, On Steitsch Festival, and many others.
