Fat beats and deep brass united, with only one goal: The joy of brass music! In 2019, the brothers Gilles and Olivier Biver founded a brass music band of a different sort. With 10 horns, a guitar, an electric bass, drums, and percussion, they wanted to break new ground in the world of brass music with their powerful, musical compositions. However, in 2022 the band's setup changed! Two guitars, drums, electric bass, and "only" seven horns now provide the audience with a concentrated energy of fat sounds, riffs, and novel electro beats that make the stage and the audience shake. The 11-piece group is particularly driven by the versatility of brass music. From classical to jazz and hip-hop, there's something for everyone. With hip impro ́s, fanfare-like melodies, and new-era sounds, the band captivates its' listeners and won't let them go. Concerts like e-Lake, "Fräiraim Festival" in the Philharmonie, on the Luxexpo Open Air stage, and many more, show that the name DROP & DOWIDDER is a force to be reckoned with.
